It’s Friday morning, and I wake up with that high-school-project-deadline energy. I’m working on at least ten different things, but nothing is remotely ready to go out.
But that’s OK! Here’s why.
Not only did I manage to get my Halloween-themed short story revised and submitted to this contest that I am definitely going to win (thanks in advance
), I’ve also got all kinds of NOTES to round up for ya.You might wonder if one of the reasons I regularly post Notes is so that I have the option to just recycle them into an official Dispatches email if I need to. Silly of you to wonder, though, because this is obviously true, and I have NO shame about it.
After all, way better writers than me do the same thing. And anyway, some of the stuff is pretty great, and a lot of you would never get to enjoy it if I didn’t publish it like this. So I’m not saying sorry, I’m saying you’re welcome.
Also I’m saying if you’re not using Notes, you should be.

OK, that’s enough for a roundup, but if you want to see more…
