Shadow & Fire has been published.
Remember last week, how I promised to send you an urgent, pleading, shamelessly desperate request for your reviews?
THIS IS THAT REQUEST
Please, right now, before you do anything else, go give my book a rating and a review!
“But how can I do that before I’ve even read it?!”
That’s a great question, sir or ma’am, but guess what! You have read it! Well, part of it at least.
Shadow & Fire is an anthology of most of the fiction I’ve published on Dispatches from Inner Space.
You know what I’m going to do now? I’m going to link to all the stories, so that if you want, you can go refresh. Or, if you’re too new to remember some or any of these, go dive in and judge me accordingly.
The Table of Contents
Part One - Shadow
Skinny Little Arms (Whoops — this one has never been published!)
Part Two - Fire
Go read (or re-read) a couple of those if you must, and then please oh please oh please…
OK, end of shameless begging.
Now for the shameful begging.
Kidding.
(But seriously, this book represents the sum total of my best fiction over the course of more than ten years. It would mean a great deal to me, a great deal, if you would go rate and review it.)
Oh, you wanted a physical book?
Paperback and hard cover are both coming. I promise. All good things come to those who wait. Yeah, you know and I know that saying is a load of bull-oney, but in this case it is true.
That is, if you define “all good things” as physical copies of the book, and “those who wait” as those who intend to purchase those books when they become available.
I’ll keep you posted, I promise.
One more update, and then we’re all done.
I am pleased and proud to announce that the dearth of actual posts is at an end. And since we’re on a semantic roll, I’ll go ahead and clarify that “actual posts” are posts that are not mostly updates. Actual posts are short fiction, essays, and chapters of Arch/Eternal. (Hilarious you thought I would make it to the end without linking that book.)
Before the end of 2023, expect two actual posts — one short fiction, and one essay.
In the meantime…
Can you guess?
This is SO EXCITING. Rated! <3
I got you, brother.
