Thank you, beautiful
About halfway through this year, I launched Dispatches from Inner Space with little more than a vague idea that I wanted to have a place to put stuff I write, where people can read it if they want to.
You are those people, and I want to say thank you — for reading, commenting, liking, sharing — thank you for being a perfect and beautiful audience for the imperfect and only-sometimes-beautiful ideas and stories I’ve shared.
I feel this great debt of gratitude because I know that there is no way any one of you has derived as much joy from reading these Dispatches as I have from sharing them. My hope is that the collected sum of all your enjoyment perhaps matches my own, but these are unquantifiable values, aren’t they?
Anyway, that’s all for this week. Regular posting schedule resumes next week, with something special cooking for January 2nd, and the next chapter of Arch/Eternal scheduled for the 6th.
In the meantime, I hope you have a fantastic New Year’s weekend, and I hope you can feel the entropic heat of my love, like when you sit down in a chair you didn’t realize someone else just left, and it’s still warm from their butt.
Oh my God. That was the sweetest damn thing I've ever read in my life. Shut the hell up. 🥰 You just got yourself double featured in my upcoming NYE post. 🔥
Fave movie, fave butt.
